Truth for authority, not authority for truth!

About Me

"Independence is my happiness, and I view things as they are, without regard to place or person; my country is the world, and my religion is to do good."
~ Thomas Paine"

My Interests

Secular Humanism , Animal Rights, Gay and Lesbian Rights, The Greater Good, Evolution, Physical Anthropology, Primatology, Psychology-Biopsychology-Evolutionary Psychology, Astronomy, Tattoos, Fake Boobs, Strip Clubs, Pole Dancing, Pole Tricks, Pin-Ups, Sims 2, Crude Humor, Drinking, Debauchery, Hedonism

------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------
I have a fascination with the great apes and a habit of comparing human behavior to primate behavior. My dream job would be to be a primatologist.

------------------------------------------------------------ ----------------------

I absolutely abhor hunting. If you want sport try boxing or football, where your opponent hits back. Shooting a defenseless animal is not sport, it's sadistic and cowardly.
The same goes for bull-fights and rodeos. Hunting and rodeo accidents make me laugh.
"Hunting is not a sport. In a sport, both sides should know they're in the game." ~Paul Rodriguez

I am a total atheist and I don't tiptoe around that fact. If that scares or offends you, I don't care!

"I am treated as evil by people who claim that they are being oppressed because they are not allowed to force me to practice what they do." ~ D. Dale Gulledge

I find this INCREDIBLY hot.

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet a voice of reason.

Barack Obama
I want to meet someone with a selfless cause.

Angelina Jolie
I want to meet aliens because I hope that they would be better than people.

I mainly like myspace for looking up old friends and keeping up with people I already know. If you are an old pal of mine, don't hesitate to say hi.
SWer's add me! If your sn is different from your myspace name, please drop me a line so I'll recognize and approve you.
I'm not here to meet dates. I don't know why I even bother to say it, because it seems that the pervys never bother to read profiles anyway. But if all your friends are big asses in thongs then I'm not going to respond to you.
I'm not interested in having 300 "friends" I have nothing in common with and whom I probably wouldn't even like if we met. I deny requests that seem purely random. If your request is not random whoring, please leave a message so I'll know who you are and why you want to add me. If you don't leave a message and I don't know you in real life, I probably won't add you.
If you leave 10 idiotic bulletins a day, you will be deleted! Chainletter people, that means you! I have zero respect for anyone dumb enough to think a message on myspace is going to bring them bad luck or *dum dum dum* death! No fuck-tards.

Music:

I like almost all types of music. Pretty much everything but country.
I have liked the Brazilian Girls , since I first heard "Don't Stop," but when I saw them live at ACL 2006 I absolutely fell in love. The lead singer, Sabina Sciubba, speaks 6 different languages and the songs on the albums may be in any one of them. Brazilian Girls are by far my favorite band right now.
More music I like:
Blue October , Imogen Heap , Sinead O'Conner, Kate Nash , System of a Down , Black Eyed Peas , Gorillaz , Velvet Revolver, Shakira , Radiohead, U2, Ludacris, Jane's Addiction, N.E.R.D., Massive Attack , Everything But the Girl, V.A.S.T., Soul Coughing, Portishead, Tupac, A.F.I. , The Killers, Type O Negative , Regina Spektor , Ingrid Michaelson , The White Stripes
Pandora is a great site for finding new music.

Movies:

I love foreign films. Subtitles don't scare me one bit.
I tend to like a lot of weird-ass movies that everyone else hates.---Anything by director David Lynch, for example.
I appreciate a film that begs to be dissected. Art shouldn't be obvious.
Some movies I enjoy: Mulholland Drive, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Sin City, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Moulin Rouge, Labyrinth, Aliens, Scarface, The Fly, Requiem for a Dream, The Count of Monte Cristo, The Professional, Kissing Jessica Stein, Original Sin, Head in the Clouds
Girly chic flicks are lame.

Original Sin

Mulholland Drive

Television:

Rock of Love, Arrested Development, Strangers With Candy, Family Guy, Futurama, Metalocalypse, American Dad, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, The Daily Show, Any Discovery Times program, Discovery Health Channel, Shows about medical anomalies, especially those with conjoined twins and freak genetic disorders. Any news channel, preferably those from outside the U.S. I watch news to burn calories, it angers up the blood.

Books:

Gone with the Wind, The Crimson Petal and the White
Authors Ray Bradbury, Ayn Rand, Pamela Sargeant, Hunter S. Thompson, Charles Bukowski, Anne Rice
Magazines:
Playboy- for the articles, the pictorials are a bonus. The April 2006 issue of Playboy has a great article, "The Conflict Between Faith and Reason" with Micheal Ruse, Daniel Dennet, and Kurt Vonnegut.
The Economist
I am currently reading....

The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins
God's Politic's by Jim Wallis
Hegemony or Survival: America's Quest for Global Dominance by Noam Chomsky
Kinds of Minds by Daniel Dennet (This one sits all alone in front of the stationary bike. Eventually I'll get over it's boring dryness or my avoidance of tedious exercise.)

-Richard Dawkins

It is one of the superstitions of the human mind to have imagined that virginity could be a virtue.
