Our bio (from Wikipedia, of all things): Headnoise is one of the main pioneers of old-school christian punkrock, appearing in mid 1990's, and lasting well over a decade. Known for being on the forefront of the southern California based "JCHC" underground movement, along with Officer Negative, NIV, and The Crucified. They were characterized as being non-compromising in their faith, with guitar-driven, powerfully fast, sophisticated hardcore punk music and mature christian lyrics. Their songs were often sharp, deep, and intelligently written, with subjects ranging from modern pragmaticism, social injustice, personal struggles, and practical spiritual insights. Originally based in Orange County, California, they moved in 2000 to Illinois to join with Jesus People USA (aka JPUSA), an intentional christian community and urban ministry serving inner-city Chicago with national and international branches of ministry. There, they became one of the top bands on the JPUSA-run record label, Grrr Records. In the winter of 2005 they took a hiatus from touring and recording in order to focus on their families and other ministry callings. They remain very close and have gotten together a few times to play, and continue to plan for more music in the future. ----------------------- NEWS OF THE HEADNOISE WORLD:
Hey, I know we've said it, but I gotta say it again: We're so blessed to have such a supportive family of fans & friends! I can't believe how much encouragement we've been receiving. Okay, now I know I've asked this before, but seriously, does ANYONE have any pics or video of us playing a show, we'd love to see it, cuz we don't have much of ourselves. I've seen you guys holding cameras and stuff, so I know you gotta have SOMETHING. Anyway, if you have stuff, drop us a line, huh? Also, not to sound stuck up or anything, but we did want to letcha know that some folks do get "denied" when we get the friend request, and it's nothing personal, but we base decisions like that on the content of your Myspace profiles. If there's profanity or vulgarity or sexyjunk or promotion for that kind of stuff, we decline the friend offer. You gotta remember that first & foremost, we are a ministry, and we want to present and reflect the God we worship & adore. So if you got dropped or get denied, it aint personal, we just don't jive with that kinda profile.
