Hi my name's Ben Pook, I kinda see myself as the Dick Van Dyke for the new millennium. I'm a poet, cyclist, I organise raffles... I do many things. I span the genres; they call me the genre spanner. I go under various other names, some call me the shadow slicer, when they can see me, some call me Shatoon, bringer of corn. Others call me Mickey Nine, the dream weaver. Some call me Photoshop. Others call me Trenu, the boiler, some call me Marjorie Keek, others call me R-R-Rubbady Pubbady. But I stick to no name, no laws, no genre, I see a boundary, I eat that boundary and wash it down with a hot steamin' cup of rules, I look reality in the face and lick it. I play a bit of guitar, when I feel like it. I do have plans tho, I seek fame and fortune, world domination, the rock-star dream, but rock n roll is fast, y'know, and if all goes according to plan, I should be in rehab next Thursday. Tuesday week, I'll be living on an island with a small Indian boy. But mainly at the moment I'm teachin' guitar, one to one, forming myself as a role model to the youth of the Isle of Wight, an unstoppable hero. I'm also working with a few bands and various other musical types. But hopefully in your time here you can learn more about me, hey you might even learn a thing or two about yourself, who knows. Together we may solve some of the great mysterys of the universe, like, um...well you know the black bits in bananas? Are they tarantula's eggs?
