About Me

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross

July 8, 1926 - August 24, 2004
The Elisabeth Kubler-Ross Foundation is a non-profit organization that helps people cope with the loss of a loved one. Although still in it's infancy, the focus of this organization is to one day build an Elisabeth House - A Community Compassion Center that will create a "community of caring" for people grieving the death of a loved one. Everyone's help and support is needed to help bring this amazing foundation off the ground!

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross's Quotes
"Those who learned to know death, rather than to fear and fight it, become our teachers about life"
"If you live each day of your life right, then you have nothing to fear"
"Dying is nothing to fear. It can be the most wonderful experience of your life. It all depends on how you have lived."
"People are like stained-glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in, their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within."
"Guilt is perhaps the most painful companion of death."
"The ultimate lesson all of us have to learn is unconditional love, which includes not only others but ourselves as well."
