About Me

I am a singer/fiddler/mandolin player. I took a year of guitar lessons at age 9 from Mike Kropp. Taught myself the other bluegrass instruments for the next few years and then settled in on the fiddle by age 12. Throughout High School years, performed with my family, the Bumgarner Family and which was later named the Rose City Bluegrass Band. During college years I joined SassyGrass, too. The bands played throughout the New England, New York, and Penn. Also, I've done lots of recording work for local musicians and played for Blue Angel, Blackstone Valley Bluegrass, Kelliana, Marcy Hill Band, Glenn Stewart. In the off season, I sit in with a few bands and do recording work at Hidden Valley Studios, in Granby, CT for Burt Teague, and other local studios.
