Influences: Im a soul fanatic! Ill always love ma r&b, soul, jazz, neo-soul, rare grooves and ol' skool garage (wen im in that frame of mind!) Its impossible to name one individual artist that has affected my sound. All those who know me are fully aware that im heavily influenced by all tha female artists of tha 90's (faith evans, adriana evans (what a voice!), aaliyah, brandy, monica, toni braxton, mary j blige, whitney houston, amel larrieux, jill scott; to name a few), and even female groups like zhane, xscape, brownstone, total, 702, destiny's child... u see where im going with this! To be quite honest, ive only really caught onto dancehall and reggae within the last 3 years even though i lived in Jamaica for such a long time. Sometimes you really dont appreciate what you've got till its gone: now im in the UK and just cant get enough of it. So hopefully my music should reflect a mixture of genres that enable you to gain real insight as to who 'Sheree' really is.
