About Me

It's time to write this bio in first person. I am playing with three bands in the Pittsburgh area - Michael Murphy and the Shannon River Band, High and Dry, and Nadina's Cube. On any given night, you may see me playing djembe, guitar, or marimba (that's a really big xylophone for those of you who are thinking, "What's a marimba?"), and singing is a constant at all of the shows. I take great pride in saying that I get to play a wide variety of styles all of the time including Irish, folk rock, funk, jazz, reggae, classic rock, and indie.

I studied percussion at Duquesne University whilst obtaining a degree in music education, and I am happy to say that I am a music teacher and have been for 4 years. I am also a student currently pursuing a master's degree in school leadership. Life is grand.

Thanks for stopping by and for the listen. Cheers.

High & Dry are back in action starting November 2nd!
