About Me

TC Singles:In addition to three full length albums, TC has released several singles. Three of those titles are included in the Player above:
Broken Wings : 6m54s - 2009
The Ritual : 3m42s - 2009
Four & Twenty : 4m50s - 2007
SPIRITONE - The Tom Carraher Experience - 2008
This release was built around meditative practices. The album contains soothing textures designed to transport and elevate thought. It is recommended that headphones be used for best listening results, and a calm, quiet environment doesn't hurt either:)
Track Titles
1) Nothin' Better - 3:43
2) Here & There - 11:41
3) Repeat Tomorrow - 2:24
4) Take Heart - 7:17
5) Meditation in D - 13:00
The GALAPAGOS Collection - 2006-2007
The Galapagos Trio: Tom Carraher (bass), Josh Clary (guitar/keys), John Riley (drums).
Galapagos was formed in 2006. Writing & recording original music, improvising whole sets, multi-artist jam sessions... Galapagos was doing it all. The band's cover repertoire included sounds from Hendrix, The Beatles, Phish, and Floyd just to name a few. The GALAPAGOS Collection contains a well balanced blend of original music and jam sessions. Featuring (on select tracks) Anthony Fugate and members of Jazzam and Omega Love.
King of the Hill - 2006
The first full length release by Tommy Carr. This album is painted well with Celtic influence. It was around the same time King of the Hill was released that TC finished up a four year run with Pittsburgh's favorite Irish band The WILD GEESE. Featuring guest artists: Briana Carraher, Michael Labauch, Blake Ragghianti, and Maura Underwood.
Track Titles
1) Open Road - 3:26
2) Call Me Over - 4:22
3) Waking Finnegan - 3:28
4) Cut Me Deeply - 3:29
5) Innocent Voices - 6:29
6) King of the Hill - 3:59
7) Island Aire - 3:14
8) Inside a Woman - 2:59
9) Luke - 4:37
10) Not a Perfect World - 3:40
11) I'm Dreaming - 4:17
12) Rosewood - 4:36
13) Goodbye - 6:39
BROKEN WINGS: This video was recorded in the winter of 2007 when "Broken Wings" was still chicken scratch on notebook paper. I find it enjoyable and highly rewarding to compare the sound of the initial idea to that of the finished product. I am constantly amazed by the power of the technology that we have at our fingertips. When I play solo, all the musical possibilities are playing along within me auditioning for their spot in the arrangement. Having the tools to manipulate sound so precisely presents a truly awesome challenge to build music layer by layer and try to paint the sound that lives inside, bring it onto this plane:)
I LOVE YOU: Hit the play button. You'll see what I'm talkin' about:)
