About Me

I am taller than I look. I never had any desire to go into medicine or law, but I did dream of being a famous actress or playing on the Olympic volleyball team...sweet, I'm two for two. I will never say "no" to going out for breakfast. I feel very uncomfortable about jaywalking. I heart fake eyelashes. I think Eric Jeske is pretty damn foxy. I drive a purple car which is odd because its my least favorite color. Favorite color is green. I absolutely adore yet fear Heather and Jessica from gofugyourself.com. I've had addresses in Denver, Seattle, Rome and Los Angeles - always thought I would have had one in Chicago by now. I love Christmastime. I hate it when grown women babytalk or say they have to "go potty." I believe in being nice to customer service representatives. I wish people used their turn signals more.

And then he was gone.

Fairly early into my freshman year of college a flyer for a lecture caught my eye in the student union.  Kurt Vonnegut.  Really?  Wow.  I hadn't read anything by him at that point ...

When Eric plays video games...

I can't help but be in the same room as him all the time, so when he fires up the Playstation or an episode of Shark, I sit down with my pen and pencil. http://www.flickr.com/gp/57021355@N00/02YLjt I...

Yes, another coffee-related entry

When asked for my name upon ordering coffee, or take-out food stuffs of any sort really, I say "Mona" or have for the last few years anyway.  I noticed that Gretchen gave a lot of people trouble ...

What happened?

I usually grab a morning coffee at Tully's in the courtyard of my office building, it's where I run into Yahoos and the like.  The one thing we have common is that we are all there because of our...

My 6-month cleaning

I've never feared the dentist. I actually looked forward to my appointments with Dr. Craiger because it was a chance to win the approval of yet another adult, something I took great pride in as a kid....

I will always be...

I never dated a lot, or at all, in high school and the trend continued when I attended the University of Washington in Seattle.  The heterosexual male population didn't really pay much attention ...

We open in a week and a half!

That's right kids, it's almost here.  If I haven't seen you in the last couple months is because we've been rehearsing for this show and every minute was worth it!  You'll laugh, you'll cry ...

To the Eyewitness News segment producer

I'm sure the job of a nightly local news segment producer is stressful and unforgiving, therefore I'm only going to offer the tiniest bit of constructive criticism.  Perhaps you should have let M...

Is it just me?

Whenever I am reminded of Alf I inevitably, without fail form a picture of Scott Bakula in my head.  It's not that I think of Alf all that frequently, but when I do it's always with Scott Bakula....
