Take one Drum n Bass DJ, add an MC with roots in hardcore and punk, have a few tokes, mix in some acoustic blues and jazz and sew it all together with some seriously sweet beats....you're starting to get an idea.
Now, add a seriously twisted designer with dangerous skills, and the CouchPotatoes are ready for the next level of auditory and visual illness!

I am pleased to announce the addition of another killer track, Blues For The Dying Sun, to our portfolio; this time featuring my good friend Emperor Zoloft, a.k.a. Waldo Alexander, of 3 Bored White Guys and previously of the Sontonga Quartet.
The Emperor is one of the finest violinists in South Africa today, and has more world-touring experience than most muso’s could shake a stick at. We recorded this a few days before the end of last year, and I think the results speak for themselves…a soothing, yet mournful ode to the end of the day (and a celebration of the beginning of another night!)
Feel free to check the track out and leave a comment, I’m still trying to decide whether to add vocals to it, so any comments in this vein will be very helpful.

After toiling till all hours of the morning for the last week, I am uberpleased to announce that there are 3 All-New Ass-Kicking tracks posted for your enjoyment...
These songs will be posted for one week to enable you all to get a sneak peek at the latest we have to offer....we're pretty impressed at the way they turned out, and have a sinking feeling you guys might be too...
The three songs posted are:
* Plastic Wrapper - a dark and subversive ode to stalking, abduction, fast cars and faceless paranoia...
* In a Can, Man - we all live in boxes....the thing is, only some of us realise this and try to do something about it...the rest just sit back and try to find a corner that doesn't hurt their backs too much.
* 21 Bong Salute - a paean to the joys of bong hitting - without them the CouchPotatoes would not be here....or we might have taken over the world already...hehe
We think that these tracks represent the next step in the CouchPotatoes' development - the tracks are rich, multi-layered compositions with even a *Gasp!* vocal harmony or 2 thrown in to add to the sickness...Let us know what you think.
