About Me


Ce site est ouvert pour relayer en France et en Europe la reformation effective de la formation originale de Christian Death, aujourd'hui appelée Christian Death 1334. En vue d'une tournée américaine et européenne, le groupe a repris le chemin des répétitions en Californie emmenée par James Mac Gearty (bassiste) et Rikk Agnew (lead guitar). Le chant est assuré par Eva O la compagne du premier chanteur mythique de Christian Death, Rozz Williams avec lequel elle a notamment fondé "Shadow Project". Le mythe revient, comme en témoigne cette photo prise la semaine dernière avec James McGearty (basse), Eva o (chant) et Rikk Agnew (guitar). Il est essentiellement question de reprendre les standards rendus célèbres par le mythique "Only Theatre of Pain" (dont la réédition pour son 25e anniverisaire est prévue en 2007) mais aussi de travailler de nouveaux morceaux enrichis par la présence de nouveaux musiciens au clavier, à la guitare et à la batterie. Christian Death 1334 is the joining of 6 musicians to take the next steps on a musical path started by the original Christian Death . Rikk Agnew, James McGearty and Eva O being members from Only Theatre of Pain and Christian Omar Madrigal Izzo was featured on Path of Sorrows, one of the later CD's featuring Rozz Williams. Rikk Agnew, James McGearty and the late Rozz Williams were the architects of the Christian Death attack and wrote the iconic songs and created the timeless sounds of Only Theatre of Pain while Eva O wrote many of the songs with Rozz Williams on Rage of Angels and Path of Sorrows. Guitarist Jaime Pina and keyboardist Le'rue Delashay have been brought in to create a richer and fuller sound once imagined by the original line-up.We have come together to create new music to satisfy the taste of those who have appreciated the unique sound of Christian Death and to push ourselves into a musical realm that is familiar yet new . There have been many who imitate and emulate Christian Death making it clear there is a hunger for this darker style of music.While we plan on playing a few songs from Only Theatre of Pain, we promise to deliver the second coming of sound and ritual through our vision of Christian Death 1334.
