WaliD WoN(World Of Negativity) pka Hectic was raised in Northern Virginia and began rapping at an early age. In High School, WaliD WoN met Iuri Martins aka Kannibal who later introduced him to Brian Webb aka Slyy and eventually formed Only The Illest(O.T.I).Everyday after-school you would find the three at Slyy's home studio recording song after song and posting the finished tracks online. After completing his junior year at J.E.B Stuart High School(Shout out Class of 07) WaliD and his family moved to North Carolina, where he attended Cary High School for a semester and later chose to drop out and focus on his music. WaliD has worked with local label E.P.C Entertainment releasing "First Strike The Mixtape" and has worked with Easy Entertainment but that did not last long as things did not go as expected. WaliD is currently working on his long over due official mixtape "Round WoN The Mixtape" which is scheduled to be available for download on December 2nd, 2007. Until then you can listen to the songs on the player from last summer, including the new single "Smoking Like A Rasta" featuring South Raleighs own Jaxbeatz & Team One Records artist Dutch.
