About Me

Holy Name Dropouts were originally formed in 2001 with Colleen Mcollough and Christine Wallace. Colleen and I played in a band together and her interest was caught when I announced the forming of my own punk rock band. We were playing country at the time, and it just wasn't cutting it. My first intention was to play upright bass in The Dropouts, but I ended up playing guitar and electric bass. Christine and I would trade off on instruments and vocals. As bands do, we broke up about a year and a half later, and after playing some shows, recording some demos. But The Dropouts never left me and I kept the name. Years later, I recorded HND's Panic Button 7" playing all the instruments myself at Big Sound Productions with Steve Jones. I think he was impressed by the songs and offered his services on the drums. How could I refuse? Fate landed Justin Butrick in our bass position shortly after and here we are! Stripped down rock without all the schtick. Like it or lump it, we're here to stay! ONI YUCK

Don't Panic

I've been blabbering on and on about the "Panic Button" 7 inch for quite some time now and I'm sure it's tiring. Well driving a fork lift don't pay much but it allows for the rock. What can I say, I'm...

The great parking lot in the sky.

When was the last time you took a drive in the U.S.? Not your commute to and from work, but got on an interstate and really got a good look around? Notice anything unusual, or should I say usual? Earl...

Why am I so difficult?

It all started in about '94 when I first moved to out of my parents house. I was 20 and on my own for the first time. I had been playing bass for about 5 years, thought I was the greatest as do a...
