O grupo foi formado em novembro de 1995 em Belo Horizonte-MG e sua atual formação é MT Ton, Preto C, N-Acor e Jota C. “Só Prus Guerrero†foi lançado em 2007 e é o primeiro álbum e conta com participações dos grupos Kontrast (MG) , Arezona (MG), Arquivo Periferico (MG), Origem Ghetto(MG) e Inquérito (SP); e tem a produção do DJ Spider e Enece. Os integrantes do Realistas NPN são coordenadores da Central Única de Favelas de Belo Horizonte/MG.

The group is also involved into social projects(teaching graffit, rap, video, and others) in poor comunitys of Belo Horizonte, city in Brazil.
