Perversely sweet burlesque beats! XOXLipstickface is the sultry electro burlesque sounds of Tiffany Paige. Tiffany is a jem of all trades; pumping sexy beats as Lipstickface, singing for Ze and the boyfriends, completing her BFA in Studio Art (with honors!) at the U of S, designing logos, stickers and clothing, modeling and taking photos of bands and cuties all over the city, with enough time left over to paint the town red! Lipstickface is best described as raunchy electro burlesque; addictive, danceable beats, spun out textures and sound effects, Peggy Lee/80’s Madonna/riotgrrrl/porn star vocals and props, icing, champagne and ass shaking galore! Opposites collide as Lipstickface transforms classics such as “Whatever Lola Wants” with eccentric yet minimalist electronic beats. That being said, Lipstickface is by no means a cover band, with her repertoire of original tunes. Her melodic, almost child-like, sing-song vocals are given a gritty tongue-in-cheek edge with dirty lyrics, wails and growls. It’s like a birthday party gone oh so wrong but it feels oh so right! This grrrl’s irresistible fuck you/love me attitude is a spectacle in itself as she simultaneously flirts with and berates the audience. With her bold beats and even bolder lipstick shades, Tiffany is sure to take the cake.
