My name is Stephanie Light! I am in love with all forms of music, and expression of music. In addition to being a songwriter, I am also a committed long distance runner. I believe running frees me from all mental stress or anxiety. Reading is also one of my favorite hobbies. My happiness and music is inspired by Jesus, my family, my friendships, the incredible scenery, other musicians, fun and strange noises and objects, and life's awe-inspiring journey. I find it necessary to include flowers in my hair or apparel on a daily basis because I once heard from someone wise that a flower spreads a contagious smile.
I have played the piano for 10 years, and the guitar for 5. I write both the lyrics and the music of my songs. Songwriting is my true passion, and performing my music is extraordinary. I am so honored to be blessed with the talents I have, and hope to use them to inspire and entertain many people throughout my lifetime. I play regularly at 10:45 AM every Sunday morning at the coffeehouse service at North Ridge Community Church with Steve Gilbertson (an acoustic and serene "coffeehouse environment" that is both personal and relaxing. Free coffee, tea, doughnuts, and bagels available!). I love to play gigs anyplace, anytime, so please do ask! Thank you and God bless : )
