About Me

R Andre Miller is a writer, director, producer, editor, cameraman, and all around gentleman resident of Hollywood, CA. In 1999, Andre gathered up his belongings and headed west from Spring, TX when he was awarded a portfolio scholarship to attend the Otis College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, CA. Four years later, he graduated with a BFA degree from the Department of Digital Media with a well-rounded education that consisted primarily of editing, animation, storytelling and visual effects. After college, Andre had stints working at several of the industries leading production and post-production facilities before making the decision to work solely on feature films. Some of his contributions include work on:
At the beginning of 2007, Andre decided to temporarily leave the world of feature films to focus full time on his own creative ventures. Over the coarse of a year, and with the help of his loving girlfriend and family, he was able to write, direct, produce, shoot and edit several music videos, electronic press kits and a television series pilot called "Hustle & Bustle". At the start of 2008, Andre began writing his first feature length film. Currently he spends most of his free time re-arranging index cards of his script on a wall in an attempt to make sure that every screen minute is exceedingly better than the last. Aside from writing (and talking in the 3rd person), Andre is always looking to collaborate with new artists and musicians that are looking to blaze a new trail and leave an indelible impression. He is actively seeking new representation as both a writer and director in Los Angeles and can not wait to relinquish his ideas and talents to the rest of the world.
