I love anything associated with the outdoors! Camping, yardwork, ATV's, you name it. Give me a good book and a "sunshiny" day and I'm a happy girl. I love working out at the gym, (and eating junk afterwards..lol). Les Mills classes are a favorite. They kick your butt! I am a serious martial artist. I have studied for 14 years, and taught for 10 and counting. I hold a 4th degree Black in TKD and a 1st Degree Black in American Kickboxing. I hope to become a Master one day (5 years away!) Obviously I plan on making this a lifetime hobby :) I am easy to please. I like just about anything!
I love the 80's and Classic Rock! But my music tastes span the entire spectrum. You should see my MP3 player. You would think a schizophrenic uses it. I have everything on there from The Killers, Boston, Sherwood, Bryan Adams, to Sade, Enya, Sinatra, and Movie Scores. It all depends on the mood I am in. About the only thing I don't care for is rap.
I like Comedies, Action Movies, Fantasy, and Epics. Lord of the Ring's was incredible.I don't care for Dramas. Life has enough problems as it is, I don't need to watch someone else's. I really enjoy watching old movies with Cary Grant. What a Stud! Bob Hope and Jerry Lewis movies always make me laugh. Back to the good ole days. Monty Python & the Holy Grail is a classic for me. I can usually tell if I will like a movie based on what the critics say: If they hate it, I usually love it!
"24"! Need I say more? I really don't watch much TV. I have to admit a weakness for Spongebob and the Simpsons. I like History Channel, Discovery Channel, A&E:Cold Case Files, CSI, Forensic type shows when I have time to watch. Sounds boring, but I love learning new things.
I would rather read than watch TV. Mysteries are my favorite books: Kathy Reichs; Nancy Bush; Patricia Cornwell; Lisa Jackson; Janet Evanovich; Lisa Scottoline; James Patterson; Sue Grafton; Karen Kijewski; I LOVED the Harry Potter books! Calvin & Hobbs always cracks me up. My all-time favorite book is "To Kill a Mockingbird" and it isn't even a mystery. Go figure! =)
My Savior Jesus Christ....the ULTIMATE hero! My parents- They have always been the best examples for me to follow. Also, my husband- he has always encouraged me to fulfill my dreams in becoming a martial artist. He never complains when I am at the studio for hours training or at the gym working out. What a great guy and he's all MINE!
