"music is, as music does"

About Me

I'm a Tottenham boy born & bred. Two sisters one brother and two parents who worked hard to put me through theatre school, (Yes i'm one of those theatre school kids but not one of those all dancing, all grinning annoying types) In my early teens I was signed to a production company called 'Monroe' based in Holloway, who helped me develop my writing, recording and singing skills which would then lead to them seeking a recording contract for me, I had some of the best times there, they were like a second family to me, and I learned so much, untill I was told I was being let out of my contract, luckily one of the guys there had booked me a session on that day with a lady who had been asked to put together a track for the cricket world cup, although the track I wrote and recorded wasn't used, I was signed up to a management deal on the back of it, the ladys name was Kim of KRM management. Kim got me in the studio straight away and I began recording, within weeks she had secured me a recording contract with 'ffrr/London records' (Polygram).I continued to write and record and got to the point where I finished my first single and to where we were scouting for video locations, this was just around the time major labels were merging and buying eachother and 'Warners' hooked up with mine leading to things all going a little Pete Tong (actually he was my boss) and I along with some others were dropped. I met and kept in contact with a lot of people from my time with Polygram, one was a fantastic singer called Jo hindley. A little while after we had left the label she had joined a band called 'Hypstir' which was being put together by a guy called 'Ray Hedges' from 'mothership'. The line up was jo, myself and a girl called nicky who also had a great voice (both hotties) we sounded great together which is why 'Epic' (Sony) got involved and offered us development deal, yet again it wasn't to be, it just wasn't right.I had been doing a few gigs at a venue called 'The Ocean' in East London organised by a group called 'This is your destiny' a fantastic group of people who were dedicated to helping and showcasing unsigned talent, ITV came down and filmed one of the shows I did. One of the last shows I performed there I met a guy called 'Plan-B' we hung out & jammed. Not long after I got a call from him saying that 'a client of his lawyers was putting together a boy band and if I wanted to be involved I should give them a call', which I did. I went down for a chat and met a guy called Dan Glatman the owner of 'Inteligent management' the boy band he had put together (Blue) had just called it a day and he was after repeating his success. So I was part of the band, the three other members were pretty cool guys, we bonded straight away, our accapellas were off the hook. Guess what? it went pear shaped, apparently it wasn't the right time, boy bands weren't be signed by majors,pop/rock was the new kid. I carried on doing various gigs around the country. On a night out with my brother and some of his boys we ended up in a club in Tottenham, we headed for the back room where some proper lively soulful House was being played, there I was having it large and as usual singing me little heart out when I caught the eye of the Dj's who called me over we got to chatting, turned out they were dj blush (House fm/Push) and Carlos K, we exchanged numbers. I got a call a little while after from the Dj Grant Richards(House fm/Kinky Malinki) Dj Blush had passed on my number as he was looking for a vocalist, we hooked up and I still work with him and Kinky Malinki today, Ive ended up travelling all over the country and Europe singing with Kinky Malinki, I was their vocalist for the last part of their residency at Pacha.Header Banner Made with MyBannerMaker.com! Why?...Why?...Why?.....

Questions to ponder.   Why do we press harder on the remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak? Why do banks charge me a fee on "insufficient funds" when they know there is not e...

"Ever had an arguement with a crackhead?"

I have. I'd seen him skulking around Ducketts Common on many occasions, usually walking his dog, which had part of its front leg missing, and a Luis Vitton suitcase strap instead of a lead.   Its...
