About Me

All of you knew the name "Sort of emotion" as a solo project of Nicolai Pitzer. But it no longer is. By chance Christan Stickl and Moritz Unterderweide asked him at the same time to start a band. Nico already made music with both of them. So for example Mortz made the vocals on the Sort of emotion song "Feeling". The lead guitar is up to Johannes Koch, who is a good friend of Moritz’. Now the four hope they can create a new sound full of feeling and energy. Of course we will let you know, when this is the case :-)

Influences: You cannot really say influences...it is more about the people who inspired me. Mainly my music is self-written, so it had its own style...but of course there are a lot of inspiration sources, such as: Johnny Cash, John Frusciante or Rocky Votolato. Tammsaare and Edise inspired me as well. So a special thanks to Arve!!!
Sounds Like: My music probably sounds very much like John Frusciante’s, his music really impressed me. But there are also influences of Rocky Votolato, Dashboard Confessional, Johnny Cash in the songs. Another big influence are the Red hot chili peppers just by their style. But their style isn’t reflected in my songs
