I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Born in Cambria Heights, Queens, raised in Freeport, Long Island, I am the youngest of 4 with a determination to be the best at whatever I put my mind to. In 1998 I left NYC to come to Hotlanta for higher education at Clark Atlanta University. A marketing major at CAU I graduated and spent the first 4 yrs of my career in marketing research before realizing my passion to serve the community. In 2006 I left the for-profit arena to pursue a full time career in not-for-profit. An entrepreneur at heart (hard worker)took on two other paying jobs (one being my own tutoring business)just to keep the money coming and my mind stimulated. Now I am holding down one not-for-profit job, expanding my tutoring business and always looking for freelance gigs in fundraising, sponsorships and event planning just to keep me going.I love hip-hop, but hate that very few "real mcs and/or lyricists" have really come onto the scene. Heavy rotation in my car consist of Low End Theory-Tribe Called Quest, Talib Kweli Mixtape and Little Brother's The Minstrel Show.I enjoy spoken word and even dabble in writing poetry from time to time. I enjoy going to spoken word functions at Apache, Urban Soul Cafe and others.I like meeting new people and can be found often at some association's networking function.I love spending time with my family and friends on the east and west coast. I am a spiritual person who firmly believes I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.I am a laidback young professional, just looking to meet people, help others and enjoy life. I aspire to be an Executive of a Not-for-Profit, have real estate investment and a family one day.The quotes I live by are: The Sky Is the Limit and Self Happiness Always Comes First.PeaceLover of Humanity
