Formed in the fall of 2004, April Frost spent 5 long seasons writting and composing before finally finding the perfect creative equilibrium that led them to fully explore the space between each other's playing. Coming out of the big city of Montreal, April Frost combine indie, alternative, funk and plain old hard rock influences to create their own unique sound. With a rock solid rythmic explosion and often melodic guitar/bass layers, with crude, honest, and sometimes melancholic vocals, April Frost strive to write music that is true to themselves and to the friendship that unites the band. Turning their life experiences and memories into epic stories hidden within mointains of metaphors and imagery, and with instrumental sections that keep you wide awake and listening, April Frost will redefine your perception of a three piece rock band. With an E.P. underway, This explosive trio which has played several known venues around Montreal boasting a setlist jampacked with heavy rock tunes, acoustic ballads, and heartfelt anthems is sure to blow you away with the all the energy and intensity of their live show, along with their phenomenal dance moves.
