They can change simply when a new "phase" hits me... then I am kinda obsessed with the field that hits my brain at this moment. Otherwise, I am interested in many things. Just to give an example I mention the art of photography (preferably on real film and the old way, where *I* do choose shutter speed and diaphragm instead of some program, and with manual focus of course... think yourself, don't depend on some automatic). I hate stupidity, the Satanic Cardinal Sin, and this means not to be passive but to use one's own brain, to question things other tell because "something is just this way", to face new problems and things you get in touch with. So I try to learn to be able to do it MY own way.
true and real people who don't play someone else on the web
Ok, this may be a strange list, but hey, thats me, and a lot depends on my mood... but NEVER, NEVER I will like Mariah Carey, to hear her crap is the maximum punishment, and mainstream that hits the charts is usually shit to get money from the brainless. But finally, here comes what I like: mainly Metal, Industrial and Punk, to a big part fronted by women, cuz I like female voices, and they do often a great job without getting the attention they deserve, besides that some classics and the right jazz. I'll name just some well and not so well known artists I like: Genitorturers fronted by the inFAMOUS Gen, Otto's Daughter which is JvB's brainchild, Nocturne, AC/DC, the missing, Meldrum, NY Loose, My Ruin, KISS, Electric Hellfire Club (still not too fond of the music yet, I wonder how long it takes me to get addicted, but EHC has definitely the greatest lyrics around), Warlock (but not too much Doro's later solo thing), Lee Aaron (both metal and jazz), Inkubus Sukkubus, Helge Schneider, Vivaldi, Bach.
Well, I was not too often in the cinema lately. What do I really like... some great old ones, often unknown American flicks of the film noir period, and others that are famous for a reason... to name a few: The Thrid Man, Sunset Boulvard, Strangers on a Train (the thing with the exchanged murders), Witness of the Prosecution (with Marlene Dietrich at its best). Now moving onwards to today... some action films and some more or less scary, mainly with an occult touch, The Craft, for example with a totally awesome Fairuza Balk. Also, I've started to like some fantasy stuff lately. And of course, even though some may not think of it as movies, I do like porn. You don't consider porn a good thing and have moral fits? Well, good is what makes me feel fine, and porn does this trick. And be honest... YOU like it, too.
I watch less and less on TV, maybe cuz the level is going to the bottom more and more. Sometimes documentation, and scientific stuff... somtimes plain silly shit like soaps or whatever is on if I want to get rid of some thought that is occupying my brain.
Besides law books which is a must for me I do enjoy good books when I am in the mood to read, that means if I don't have to read tons of pages to keep up to date in my profession. As a Satanist I enjoy the books of Anton Szandor LaVey (The Satanic Bible, The Satanic Rituals -- both of them are available in German language, in one special hardback edition, not cheap, but you get both at once), The Satanic Witch (written for women, but actually quite a psychological book, and good for men to know if you need to defend against the female weapons), Satan Speaks, The Devil's Notebook (both of them are available together in a special hardback edition in German, too). And there is a CD with "The Satanic Mass" celebrated by LaVey which is a reissue of the old vinyl. What else? Might is Right by Ragnar Redbeard which is hard to get but very interesting (there is also a German edition now). This book influenced LaVey when writing The Satanic Bible. More? Ok, there are some few good German books about Satanism, ask me if you want to know. Besides that, almost any book, if read right, that means active and critical, is a good thing to get new ideas. Even the bible, if you ask the right questions to free your mind you will put god to the grave afterwards. And of course, sometimes it must be some plain silly story to relax and to let thoughts fly around...
