My name is Lars. I'm the founder of Seven Thorns/7thorns.
I play the drums :-)
After a turbolent time where we had to fire 4 (!) of the members due to personal and musical indifferences, we are now back in business and preparing tracks for the 2nd. album.
Original vocalist/songwriter Mik is back in the band, mainly as songwriter as we are hoping to find a super vocalist with a super attitude!!!
Mik was the master mind behind "Artificial Night" (2005 Danish Metal Award nominee and winner of the 2006 unofficial European Heavy Metal Melody Grand Prix (Eurovision Heavy Metal Song Contest).
The Promo CD where the track is featured has recieved numerous top reviews all over the world.
For a period of 1½ years I was also the drummer of Danish melodic black metallers Illnath, where I played a few gigs and was part of the writing process for the 3rd. album. But due the issues with the previous members of Seven Thorns/7thorns, it was not possible to continue the cooperation.
