My Interests

Having fun with my kids. Reading, and more reading. Music, playing in my garden. Of course there is hockey, don't get between me and my hockey, it can be dangerous. And football if the Steelers are involved. This girl bleeds black and gold. :)

Music:

Check these guys out!!!Right now, I am addicted to Josh Groban's new album 'Awake'. If you are unfamiliar with Josh, I'm not surprised, his music is pretty much it's own genre, though you can find it classified in everything from classical to easy listening to vocal. Josh has a voice that is unbelievable, ok I'll be honest, it makes me melt :). Josh also has two other albums out, a self titled album and his second album, 'Closer'. I like music in almost every genre from classical to speed metal and punk, though I am not too fond of modern rap (80's rap is another story) or country.

Movies:

My all time favorite movies are The Princess Bride and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, though I love all the Monty Python movies. What Monty Python Character are you?

Television:

Star Trek, Star Trek and more Star Trek! Unless of course it's hockey season and the Penguins are playing. Hockey season is almost here! Yes I'm excited, as the Penguins are going to be a force to be reckoned with. Sidney Crosby named team Captain! *grins* My baby is growing up so fast! To bide my time until hockey there is football, HERE WE GO STEELERS HERE WE GO!!!!!

Books:

I love to read just about anything I can get my hands on. My personal Library keeps growing and growing. Fantasy and Sci-fi have always been favorites, along with horror. I Also love non-fiction books as I feel I can never educate myself enough about a topic. My religious books section is quite large as I try to learn as much as I can about as many belief systems as I can. Medical texts, science texts, and of course history texts all find their places on my shelves.Currently reading: The Law Enforcement Guide To Wicca- Kerr Cuhulain (3rd edition Revised and Expanded), Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road- Neil Peart, and lesson plans from the First Amendment Center on teaching the First Amendment.
