About Me

Who am I? I am a sun lover, a foolish saint and I cry hysterically when I get the giggles. I can stack wood in high heels. I like Martini’s stirred, not shaken with 2 olives. What could be better than a cocktail with snacks!? I like things that sparkle, calla lillies and rusty iron gates. Budhism makes sense to me. I am a legal secretary gone bitter. I am a wife and a mother. And I wouldn’t trade that for anything!Myspace Backgrounds

My Interests

I've been focusing on Black and White Photography lately. Just picked up the last bit of equipment for my dark room. Planted an herb garden and can't wait cook with everything. Otherwise, in my spare time...hmmm...what spare time? I'm still getting used to life according to Riley. Right now a beach towel, a body of water and drink with an umbrella sounds really good.

I'd like to meet:

Who I’d like to meet...Robin Williams. He is certifiable but he reminds me of my dad and I love how he can make you laugh by picking up just about anything in the room. I’d love to have lunch with Maya Angelou. And I’d give anything to have a drink with my brother’s reincarnation on a beach somewhere in the future.

Music:

I have very eclectic tastes. I’ll listen to just about anything but I loathe 80's hair bands. I’d pay the big bucks to see Elton John play in Vegas. Stuff that has caught my ear lately: Blue October and Colbie Caillat. You’ll find anything from Gwen Stefani(mmm...if I went that way) to Enya in my collection. I appreciate the Beattles’ message but think they are over rated. I have always liked Elvis’ Fools Rush In. Dolly Parton was my idol when I was little. I saw U2 in concert last year and it was life changing.

Movies:

...don’t get to watch too many these days but I am a Quentin Tarantino fan. I love to come home from being out after a few drinks and put Pulp Fiction on. Kill Bill 1&2. Beatrice Kiddo is my hero. I grew up watching Gone with the Wind every New Years Eve with my mom. Explains all the epic drama. I like comedies, anything that makes me laugh. And I’m always up for a chick flick. Go see U23D! F'ing amazing! The Edge is so hott!!!

Television:

T.V. sucks.

Books:

Just finished The Glass Castle. It’s the only book I have ever read twice. Hauntily describes my childhood. I'm in the middle of "The Almost Moon" by Alice Sebold. Gruesome and I'm wondering if I should be reading it if I want to keep my psyche intact.

Heroes:

Gram...to have known her is to love her.
