My name is Miechelle, and I'm 21 years old. I was born May 17th 1985 in Akron Ohio, although i just recently moved to hartville with my family. I'm a 'unique' female, and will do pretty much anything to make someone laugh. :) Also right now, I'm attending Akron University for Cultural Anthropology/Medical Anthropology, and excited about finishing my junior year. I just finished my fall 2006 semester in Tokyo Japan for school (Temple University Japan). Was there from Aug 16th until December 11th, it was amazing.
My nickname of 10 years, is mishkuu. My friends randomly made it up in middle school. I have no idea where they got it from, since it was before i got into Japanese culture, and before anime got real big in the states. I used to be called Mishkyano, so maybe thats where it came from.. hmm. Anyways! - It really truly is my 2nd name, and i'm called it by everyone. :)
I currently have 12 piercings -- 1 in my left eyebrow (got it right before i graduated HS and turned 18. yay!) and 11 in my ears. My left ear has the extra: a 14g conch. I love it so.. the others are just regular piercings. They're fun. I also have a tattoo, pic to come later. the rest of it done in japan.
I love videogames, and have been a gamer since i was really little. (those good ol' NES days) I'm a huge Metroid freak, and love Zelda very much. PSX2 fits in there as well. (Tekkens, FF7, Resident Evils, Silent Hills, etc.) XBOX, on the other hand is evil. (i've played it by force, and well.. ya..)
Besides videogames: I love to draw, graphic design, take pictures, listen to music, be with friends, watch movies, swim, volleyball, anime (not as much as i used to be), and cosplaying is swell. Roller Derby is pretty sweet. Invader Zim, Gloomy Bear and The Happy Tree Friends, i also find neat. I also love fashion and includes gothic, gothic lolita, rockabilly, modern, historic fashion, etc.
I'm really into JROCK and some of my favorite bands/singers include: Plastic Tree, Schwarz Stein, Psycho le Cemu, Hide, SID, Kaya, Malice Mizer, Shiina Ringo, Miyavi, Gackt, Aya, X-Japan, Kozi, Olivia, Gazette, Orange Range, etc.
And I like some JPOP: Ayumi Hamasaki, Maaya Sakamoto, and Rurutia.
So overall, im a real big dork. But i have fun with it. :) I love morbid-weird things at the same time as cutesy-sweet things.. lol!

(I can speak a little Japanese. I've completed Japanese classes for two years. I think Japanese is hard sometimes, but I like studying it. I think my school is a kinda bad. Because Akron U's majors does not have Japanese.
