SPEEDY CONSUELA is a family band.
Steve and Joyce (brother and sister) grew-up in the heart of the nation's capital, Washington, D.C. At ages 14 and 12 they discovered rock 'n' roll. .
After college, Steve toured with his punk rock band EDSEL, and Joyce toured with her band SCARCE.
Fast forward ten years later, both siblings feel-in-love with two other musicians.
First, Joyce married Matt,
then Steve married Johnna
and viola...SPEEDY CONSUELA was born.
(The fabuloso Roberto Myers -- who also hails from D.C. -- met Steve and Joyce when they were all teens and they have been playing, creatiing, collborating, and bouncing art and music ideas off eachother ever since. br
