A Movie? is an attempt to meld rock 'n' roll soundtracks of The Animaniacs and Platoon with hip-hop soundtracks of Pinky and the Brain and It's a Wonderful Life. Easily compared to the ultra-unhip sound of Nirvana mixed with the slightly-over-the-hill quirkiness of Outkast, A Movie? inspires to be a punk band whilst playing only a marginal amount of punk music. A Movie? believes that amongst the darkness of human existence is an innate triumph and a pie-to-the-face, and they craft rock songs, pop songs, metal songs, rap songs, and funk songs according to which angle of humanity they are attempting to represent.
