...we have come together, one and all,

About Me

The Honeymooners is one of the all time greatest tv shows ever. There was never a greater cast than Jackie Gleason, Art Carney, Audrey Meadows & Joyce Randolph.
Here you will find some of my own episode summaries (new ones added now and then), my Honeymooners collection of memorabilia, my 'world reknown' (haha) Honeymooners Trivia Show, and some other cool honeymooners items of interest.
Whether you are 20 or 80 years old you probably have heard of THE HONEYMOONERS. The episodes that most people remember are those that are called "the classic 39." In 1955 Jackie Gleason signed on with CBS to make the Honeymooners into a half an hour comedy sketch. These shows were filmed live (later edited and broadcast).
I’m not old enough to remember the show first being broadcast but I do have fond memories of being around 8 years old and watching the reruns with my father. This was back in the 1970s. I still find time to watch the Honeymooners and with the recent distribution onto DVD I have be able to watch the shows on a regular basis. The Lost Episodes were also released several years ago in 6 box sets. So between the original 39 and the lost episodes we luckily have enough episodes to keep us laughing for a long time to come. Tvland ran the show a couple of years ago but has since taken it out of their regular lineup (stay tuned for a petition in the works). As far as I know local (NY/NJ area) station WPIX still broadcasts the show as they have since… well.. forever.
I put this page together for every one who has ever seen an episode of the Honeymooners (and of course for myself). I love keeping the memory alive and always love hearing from fellow fans of the show or fans of the original cast members.
I’ve been collecting memorabilia for many years and I am always looking for, selling and acquiring Honeymooners' items. I mainly collect Art Carney related items (especially from his years on the Honeymooners). He is my favorite character actor and if you ask me there will never be another man as talented as him. Forget Barney Fife, Archie Bunker, Kramer ... Ed Norton was the greatest!
ABOUT AUTOGRAPHS:
I have recently added 100% genuine autographed items to my website. So be sure to check out the autograph page at www.geocities.com/thehoneymooners1955. These are items I have in stock. All shipping is included in the prices.
If you are looking for something in particular I may be able to help or if you need advise on buying Honeymooners autographs I can help. Before you buy from an online auction message me. There are many fake Gleason autographs being sold through internet auctions and non-reputable dealers. Everyday I see fake Honeymooners signed items on EBAY. If that signed Jackie Gleason photo sounds too good to be true... well, it is.. and most likely a fake signature. Stay away from 'private auctions' (there is no reason for an auction to be private). I have many examples of 'authentic signatures' or can even tell you what you need to look for.
I’ve been collecting autographs for 26 years and had 10 articles published with autograph magazines (including Autograph Collector Magazine). One article I wrote was for (a now defunct) magazine called, Autograph Times.
The article was called, "Collecting the Honeymooners." This article will soon be available for viewing at www.geocities.com/thehoneymooners1955. Give it a read and let me know what you think.
Feel free message me any comments or suggestions. I will keep working to make this a great dedication page!
