Welcome to the OFFICIAL Myspace page of the METAL MELTDOWN NYC concert series. Designed with the intentions of showcasing the NYC metal renaissance, METAL MELTDOWN is about talented local musicians, both above and underground.
The shows are about presenting an intimate experience for both bands and the fans at a reasonable price. Does this sound familiar to some of you in the old school?? It should for two reasons:(1) The scene was like this back in the day. METAL MELTDOWN is all about taking the power of Metal we all love, and giving everyone a stage and a fully stocked bar.
(2) TRUE METAL AMERICA has been doing this in New Jersey, working with Bob Mitchell from ATTACKER/SLEEPY HOLLOW.We are not promoters; we are not talent agents; we are simply a group of friends and musicians who love Metal, and want to share the rock with as many people as we can.As our scene grows, so shall this series.
