My kind of people...
Music:
Quite broad, Otis Redding, classical music like Chopin and Bach, to Slayer (and a lot inbetween). My favourite genre though is Stonerrock!Just to give you a taste, I grew up with the Stones, the Who, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Focus, (old) David Bowie, the Police, Joe Jackson etc... My own musical taste went from Hendrix to Gary Moore (Nuclear Attack era) to Kill 'em All. Then I got into the guitarstuff while starting to play, Joe Satriani, Mitchell, Vai, Jason Becker, Marty Friedman, RacerX, Frank Gambale etc. It was good for my guitar skills, but something was missing....So at some point I heard Spirit Caravan and was blown away. I had Kyuss in my collection, but I guess at that time I was not ready. Next steps were logical, Spirit Caravan, the Obsessed, Kyuss, Orange Goblin, the Atomic Bitchwax, Sixty Watt Shaman, Roadsaw, Celestial Season etc etc, and I still can't get enough!!!
Movies:
Action, Comedy, Drama, Horror etc. I can really enjoy a good story, good camerawork and good acting, so as long as that is ok it doesn't really matter what type of movie it is...
Television:
Dutch television net3 is what I watch most. I love stand up/theater and cultural oriented programs...as well as BBC. I also watch cooking programs, since cooking is one of my passions....
Books:
Mainly SF and Fantasy. I also like to read National Geographics and Nature and Science magazines like EOS
Heroes:
Well....not many but they would be in random order
Jimi Hendrix, Elvis and Scott Weinrich
