About Me

Hi. I'm Leanne. I'm 33 and live in Hamilton, New Zealand. I seperated from my husband of fifteen years in October last year. I'm really scatty without any direction in life at the mo. I'm a down to earth person, easy to get along with, friendly and outgoing. I love to laugh and I have a good sense of humor, although it is sometimes a tad on the dark side. I am extremely honest, to a fault at times, but with tact of course. Honesty and openness are very important to me. I pull no punches and expect the same of my friends. I've done many things in my past I've regretted and I wouldn't take them back for anything in the world. Life is full of experiences and I am all about meeting new people and experiencing new things. I have a very curious mind, love to learn new things. If you'd like to know more, feel free to write.

My Interests

I live for Music. I love to be out in the sun, if it wasn't so hot I'd live there. So I swim and lay out by the pool alot. I have a passion for art and I've got a nice little collections. I like to stay pretty active so I run and workout in the gym as much as I can. I also love to travel.

I'd like to meet:

Musicians, Bands, Rockers. Anyone is fine really, but if you can't accept everyone, just for who they are regardless of race, religion, or culture..then do not bother contacting me. I have no room in my life for prejudice or ignorance.

Music:

I love hearing new bands and good music. Give me something I can move to and I'll love you forever. My musical taste is very eclectic. Mostly old school metal and rock. Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, etc. I like everything from Slayer to Stevie Nicks. Odd, I know. I like anything that has kick ass guitars in it. Know this, that 14-year-old metalhead kid will always reside within me.

Movies:

Anything Quentin Tarantino, Star Wars, The Matrix, Requiem for a Dream, Donnie Darko, Eternal sunshine of the spottless mind, Sin City, and anything with Will Ferrell.

Television:

I don't watch much TV but the DVR is always set to record House.

Books:

Phillippa Gregory, Stephen King, Anne Rice, Diana Gabaldon, James Frey.

Heroes:

My dad for showing me how a man should treat a woman, for always listening and giving good advice, for not saying anything when you have nothing nice to say, for taking care of your family in such a profound way.
