I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Acting. Writing. Painting. Condescending. Contradicting. Being a paradox. Shocking people with the rare acerbic wit that arises during delirium. Hot boys with handlebar mustaches. Wanting to name my unborn children "Rebel" and "Cobra." Those are just the girl names. Tequila shots (chilled) and the post teenage dry hump (preferably in a strange apartment)...yeah, that sounds good.

My Interests

This used to be quite longer and much more profound, however, I accept the Pepsi challenge of simplicity and honesty. Even though I am a woman, I still refer to myself as a "girl." I'd love to believe that I'm a stupendous badass, but really, I'm just a sensitive being who feels invigorated in the summer, loves being inspired, wants to do magnificent things and believes that the greatest gift is when you actually see a piece of someone's soul. Understanding both sides, synchronizing the sword fight between my left and right brain, doing what I feel in the moment and smiling at strangers who may or may not smile back. I still believe that coffee makes everything better, especially after a night of Guinness or Patron, and the chase/journey/whatever you wanna call it; is just as important as the destination. It's all very 8th grade, really. I think Kanye West is a rare breed of genius and I love this song:

I'd like to meet:

Morrissey.Morrissey.Morrissey.Morrissey.Morrissey.Morrissey. Morrissey.Morrissey. John Singer Sargent, Salvidor Dali, Frida Kahlo, Nicholai Fechin, Oscar Wilde, e.e. cummings (oh...how much I love e.e. cummings), Dr. Seuss, Shel Silverstein, Tori Amos, Sandra Bernhard, Prince, Andre 3000, T.S. Elliot, Delicious Robert Rodriguez, Mr. Quentin Tarantino, Richard Avedon and other people that don't ask for fucking permission to accomplish their dreams. Oh-and these bad ass mother-effers right here. ..

Music:

Tori Amos, The Smiths, Morrissey, T.V. On the Radio, The Pixies, The Pet Shop Boys, The White Stripes, The Yeah yeah yeahs, Elliot Smith, The Police, Old school No Doubt, 80's nostalgia, Old School U2, Old School Red Hot Chili Peppers, Peter Bjorn & John, Radiohead, Sleater Kinney, Billy Idol, The Cure, New Order, PJ Harvey, Bjork, Joan Jett, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Stone Temple Pilots, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Soundgarden, Incubus, Al Green, Billy Joel, Prince, The Stones, PJ Harvey, Madonna, The Kinks, Barry White, Sade, Fleetwood Mac, Nine Inch Nails. There are just too many. Tree's poignant song about being a waitress. .. .. .. ..

Movies:

I used to have a bitchin' post in this section of Charlie Rose interviewing my main man, Quentin Tarantino. I loved it. It was my first-born post on MySpace. One day I awoke, only to find that my beloved Quentin was erased without my knowledge, provoking irritation, questioning my trust in all human beings who have more than one leg and jarring my psyche. Ef that. I call bullshit on this bullshit. Here are a few of my favorites: JUNO!!! Gia, The Royal Tannenbaums, Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction, Grindhouse, Michael Clayton, The Big Lebowski, Swingers, Mulholland Drive, Expired, Little Children, Secretary, Closer, Desperado, Reality Bites, Good Will Hunting, Life is Beautiful, Venus, The Graduate, Romeo and Juliet (1960's), American Beauty, Dead Poet's Society, Primal Fear, Final Destination, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, High Fidelity, Kissing Jessica Stein, Waiting for Guffman, Best in Show...The Secret.
