Politics (strictly in an observational sense), Reading books, Reading magazines, trivial pursuit, trivia in general, writing (or more like thinking of ideas but not actually ever putting them down on paper, so I guess brainstorming more than the actual writing writing.) Having funny things happen that I can tell people about later, analyzing the minutiae of everyday life.
Pretty much anyone that will make me laugh (at or with) and also an elderly (perhaps sickly), obscenely wealthy, long-lost relative who views me as a daughter figure.
Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Tom Petty, Aimee Mann, Phoenix, Heart, Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, Bonnie Raitt, Roy Orbison, Rilo Kiley, Dire Straits, Old 97s, and tons of Motown, and I can't help but completely love Jennifer Hudson.
