At Vom Nordosten Haus we breed the finest pedigree German Shepherd dogs. We travel to Germany several times every year. Each German Shepherd adult and puppy we import is hand picked & evaluated by us. We pay special attention to each German Shepherd's temperament and physical breeding condition.
Our puppies come from only top quality German bloodlines. Our males and females come with high 'V' and 'VA' ratings. All of our German Shepherds are top Quality SchH1, SchH2, SchH3 working dogs.

About Us Michael:
I've been breeding German Shepherds for over 20 years now. I grew up with the breed. I started with breeding AKC-Standard German Shepherds. In time I wanted to do more with the dogs' working abilities, not only show. I became fascinated with the sport of Schutzhund as a measure of the dogs' abilities and expanded into East German bloodlines, then finally into West German High (show/working) Lines, though we still produce East German DDR-bloodline dogs as well. I have a Masters in Education; I am a Special Education Teacher by vocation, and recently started Doctorate work in Forensic Psychology.
Juliana:
I'm a Petty Officer in the US Navy (active duty). I have two Bachelors' degrees in science that I -might- use some day, and an Associate's in Business. I started my Master's, and I intend to finish it someday. Working with dogs has been a passion of mine ever since I can remember. There is nothing I enjoy more than seeing a dog at work. Insofar as the "german vs american" debate, all I will say is this: There are cases when I see too much over-angulation in the American lines, and it prevents them from doing what they were bred to do. I prefer the German working and show lines to American, but that is not to say that I dislike American lines, because I've seen some very impressive American shepherds as well. My favorite dogs are working dogs with high drive. I have a particular fondness for East-German working lines.
