"If Keyboard were a record label, we could get rich with unsigned artists like these." - Keyboard Magazine
Layabout's new EP, Suburban Legend, features a spate of new tracks -- 6 in all -- that showcase the band's musical inventiveness and inspired approach. These original songs, written by keyboardist, vocalist and bandleader, Edward "Tex" Miller, are complemented by the bass wizardry of Jeff Novack and the creative, fresh drumming and percussion of John Lacques.

"...the smooth quality of the jazz-inspired tune packs an undeniable charm, and you can't help but dig it. This goes without mentioning the appeal of Tex Miller's velvety, somewhat vulnerable voice which melts over the instrumental accompaniment. His voice is an absolute asset to every song..." - Amp Camp
