But having an adult son + 2 teenagers.....I guess I need to get with the program, so here I am. As you can see, I'm having a blast with it.......Now, if I can only learn how to TEXT MESSAGE on the cell, life would be so much easier in trying to keep up with the kids. LOL ---- I was born and raised in Marietta, Ohio. Graduated from MHS in 1977. I moved from Marietta 10 years ago and now live in the Philadelphia, PA area. ---- When I first moved to the BIG CITY, hated it. But now I LOVE living here, and couldn't think of a better place to live that gives my kids the opportunities that Philadelphia has to offer. I like Philadelphia Cheesesteaks, and the HUGE pretzels. --- I look forward to each summer, when I get to go back to Ohio for 3 weeks to visit my family & friends in Marietta & Columbus. ---- Most of my family & friends know that I am an honest and caring person with a good sense of humor and like to have fun.---- I'm also the kind of person, who looks at things from the spiritual perspective, and I truly believe that things (good & bad) always happens for a reason. Philadelphia has the most passionate sports fans. Believe it or not, there are some of us Philly Fans that are with the teams even when they're losing. LOL ---- My "Favorite" Ice Hockey Teams are the Philadelphia Phantoms (AHL) and Flyers (NHL). I'm a season ticket holder of the Phantoms. My favorite players are Michael Ratchuk (#5) and Jason DeSantis (#6). My all time favorite hockey player is Riley Cote, once a Phantom, he's now living his life long dream of playing for the Flyers. Riley has worked so hard, since the age of 6 of becoming an NHL Hockey Player. He is an amazing example that dreams do come true, but you have to work hard and be determined to reach your goal. What a great hockey player!! Yes...Riley is a tough guy on the ice, but has a "heart of gold" off the ice, as well as his wife, Holly. She's also from Ohio & she loves OSU just as much as I do. Riley & Holly are very kind compassionate people. I love them for not only hockey, but who they are as people.================================
