About Me

During business hours I am a high ranking, tie wearing, corner office kind of guy- with heady responsibilities both in and outside of work. In the mid 90's I was the lead singer of "Beggar's Day", a popular Chicago based rock band which achieved much attention and acclaim in the local scene. We played at most all the then hot venues: Thirsty Whale, Avalon, Gateway Theater, etc. gigging almost weekly. It was a great time with plenty of noise, booze, and women.I've been out of the music scene for some years. This time it's all business. "Destructive Playthings" is (with as much humility as I can muster) some of the best new music in it's genre to be created in a decade. And I am proud to be the front man.Authentic. Original. Independent Thinker. Silly yet Serious. Introspective. Philosopher. Performer yet Private. Ex-Fitness Buff. Party within Reason. Leader. Loyal. Intimate. Trustworthy. Overcomer. Winner. Live Alone Single Dad. Curious. Stable. Ambitious. Strong. Vulnerable. Generous. Sensitive. Warrior Poet. Freedom. Family. Friends. Truth. Love.

My Interests

My son. My band. Spirit, Philosophy, Human behavior and achievement, Politics a bit. Ordinary heroes.

I'd like to meet:

anyone on the same frequency... and too many dead people to mention.

Music:

My influences include Jon Bon Jovi, James Hetfield, Lane Staley. I grew up on 80's hair metal but the classic rock era is far and away more brilliant- Zep, Doors, Floyd, Beatles... I don't mind hip hop once in a blue- same with classical, jazz, most anything. Just keep me away from the country. Really.

Movies:

Raiders of the Lost Ark. The Rocky Series. Spaceballs. This is getting lame...

Television:

Please...

Books:

Deepak Chopra, Dale Carnegie, Napoleon Hill, Og Mandino- you get the point. Not a fiction guy- except in my personal fantasies.

Heroes:

Rocky Balboa, Walter Payton, my parents.
