Crowdead Band Death MetalThe band was set up in 2003 by Angelo Scala (rhythm guitar) and Daniele Napolitano (lead guitar), to whom united Silvestro Giordano (vocals, now in Steel Cage), Rolando Costagliola (drums), Felice Mauro (lead guitar) and Luigi Albi ( bass).
but pale was the oomph: after a flourishing year full of gigs and various changes of line-up, the equilibrium gave and the act I of Crowdead history dissolved.
At this point, Angelo laid aside guitar, Felice founded "The Garage of the Slaves" , a power metal band and Rolando, after various experiences, set up Complex Delirium.
Complex delirium was a death-prog metal band composed by Roberto Lombardi and the bass player David Iovino(now in Steel Cage) too. The vocals were destinated to Giovanna Lorusso.
The end of this experience allow the refoundation of the Crowdead forge.The actual line-up is composed by Giovanna (Giove), Roberto (Damien), Rolando(Rollblast), Felice (Phoenix), Angelo(BadAngel) and the new bass player Umberto D'Onofrio (Abigor), who join the band in June 2006.Starting like classical metal speckled with speed and death lines(with actI line up), Crowdead sound is now evolving into something new:
MELANCHOLIC AND OBSCURE ATMOSPHERES INTERFURE IN CLASSICAL DEATH CLOTTING ALL IN STRENGHT AND AGGRESSIVENESS. THE UNHOLY PERVERSE AND PSYCHOTIC LYRICS RENDER MORBID AND OPPRESSIVE THE AUDITORY PERCEPTION...Actually in studio, after some months of inactivity due to line up problems , the band restarts the live activity in autumn to promote "Illusion Divine", a poetic licence of 8 tracks..........it is for it we sold our souls, the divine illusion of this earth........
