The project DIE SILENTLY starts in June 2002 by the decision of the guitarist Angelo Roccagli and of the drummer Stefano Cateni. After a year of continuos search of members for the band, in May 2003, the bass player Daniele Favot joins the duo. After a period of 8 Months of rehearsal, Daniele decides to leave the band to follow other interests. Stand still for almost 7 months, because of no motivation and members for the band, the project seems to come to an end! But in Summer 2004 the guitarist Alberto Geretto comes to join the band! So Die Silently finds in Alberto his Lead Guitar!! The band is not complete yet: singer and bass player are missing. To fill the role of singer the band call Simone Carlin, who was part of another band (DEATH'S SCREAM) in the past togheter with Angelo. After a period of uncertainty, Simone decides to keep on the mic again and to give his essential contribution! But the bass player is still a problem. After many discussions, the members of the group call Dario Battiston, bass player of other two bands, one of them is Real Illusion! Desired by the band for his technical ability and for of friendship that involves all of them, on October 22 2004 Dario is in the project! That day DIE SILENTLY starts! Thanks to the different musical influences of each one, the group plays Thrash Metal with Melodic trace and particular resonance: Angelo is tied to the Old School of '80 but with an eye open on Swedish Melodic Death Metal bands (Dark Tranquillity as the most important), Alberto and his love for Led Zeppelin, Nevermore and Dark Tranquillity again, Stefano with his "modern" sound made of bands as System of a Down, Deftones; Dario and his passion for Progressive bands as Rush and Dream Theater and at last, but definitely not least, Simone and Black Metal as favorite genre! A melting pot of influences which give a contribution to create the sound of DIE SILENTLY as a band. In August 2006 Dario decided to leave the band, for some incomprehension with the other members. Unfortunately after a few months Alberto leaves the band too, to follow other musical projects. In the following months, Die Silently has go on in rehearsal, making new songs and searching new components. In June 2007 the bass player Diego has decided to join the band, and now the Die Silently project goes on!!!!
