T-Richard & the Zydeco Stingrays

Zydeco. That's what we reppin'...

About Me

With the hub of Acadiana just a 5-hour drive to the southeast, the influence of such a brilliant vibe and culture has inspired a solitary man with a mission. For over 14 years, the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex has been the home and stage for the stand-alone artist -- T-Richard. A native Texan with a thirst for grooves, T-Richard has spent his life immersed in all things extraordinary; cultivating outlets for his support and promotion of Creole, Cajun and Caribbean cultures. ____________________________________________________________ __
As an artist, T-Richard unites tradition with reform; delivering compositions of originality and conversance to both fans of Louisiana music and new recruits of the genre. His cooperative style to mix zydeco with pop music has branded him an accredited peer outside of The Bayou State. ____________________________________________________________ __
His creation of The Zydeco Stingrays is by far, his best association to date, poised to establish themselves as not only the top zydeco act in north Texas, but also as a band that incorporates fresh influences to carve out their own niche within the zydeco world. ____________________________________________________________ __
For the latest in zydeco music, tune into T-Richard's "Louisiana Music Party" every Monday night from 9 PM to 10 PM on Dallas' Community Radio station, KNON 89.3 FM. www.knon.org
