---------------------------- "Racing the Train" is a sonic collage created from several sources. Samples are recorded in the studio from just about anything that makes a sound. Vocals, guitars, bass, drums, drum machines, keyboards, traffic, a party, birds chirping, chairs creaking, toaster ovens, and the microwave.

The majority of the project is written, composed and arranged by Robby Staires, Jackie O (vocals, guitar) and John Who (bass). Nick Barnett also plays a lead role in producing many of the samples for the music. Samples include but are not limited to Reid Kerris, Eric Sowa, Bob Baumgartener, Rebecca Smentek, Allison Moroni, Tom Maslowski, Mike Davies, Donnaco Nudi, Jim Allen, Chris Dahl, Laurie Davis, Ron Kurek, Tim Russin, Tim Breen, Dave Evans, and N8000.
