Peter earned a B.A. in music from Queens College in Flushing, N.Y. and a M.A. in composition from Long Island University N.Y. He is a certified N.Y.S. music teacher and has been regularly featured at "The Classic American Guitar Show".
Over the years he has consistently performed for Broadway Shows, jazz clubs and in concert settings. He was a former host for a year and a half of the "Cablevision Guitar Extra Help Show"-a live to air broadcast. Peter's popular how to column "Guitar Artistry" appears in the International publication "Just Jazz Guitar". He continues to give private lessons and conducts on going classes and workshops on jazz guitar, study skills, focusing and artistic performance.
Many musicians are plagued by tendonitus, tinnitus and muscle strain. Peter has become an expert on alleviating and preventing these with custom tailored exercises and programs. Peter Rogine is the director of "The Academy", a wholistic arts center and is the author and producer of numerous cd and video instructional programs.
