I dance and sail and go to the gym when I get the chance. Well ok actually I go to the gym even when I really don't have the time... I'm a slave to the pimped up version of the female body image I know. I'm working on being less vain, really I am.
I'd like to meet C. S Lewis, G. K Chesterton, Paul (the apostle), Michael Buble, Calista Flockhart, Ellen Degeneres, Oprah, all the members of my family that died before I got to meet them, Phillip Yancey, Wes Stafford and well so many more...Now I know that allot of these people are dead but hey a girl can dream.Oh and I'd like to meet God one day! He has reserved a time and place especially for me too! Actually God is probably the only one on this list that I will ever meet.
I'm a big jazz fan. Especially Michael Buble. If he were female we'd have moved to Canada and gotten married by now.Basically anything you can dance to. The seventies and eighties had pretty good music. I don't really like too much contemporary stuff.
Now your going to laugh at this, I know you are. My favorite film is The Notebook. It's sappy and romantic and not typical of my personality but I like it anyway. Others include Pride and Prejudice (both versions) The Green Mile, I am Sam, Miss Congeniality, The sound of music and Thelma and Louise.
For some reason beyond even my comprehension I'm addicted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer... Ok lets just leave that one there.I also like Ally McBeal because I'm a big fan of Calista Flockhart, Charmed because I'm a big fan of Alyssa Milano, Boston Public, Sex and the City (unfortunately it's culturally relevant, I actually did a research project on it and now find the show interesting, soft porn shots aside.)
Where do I start?!The BibleFavorite authors include C. S. Lewis, G. K Chesterton, Phillip Yancey, Pamela Paul and Louise Bagshawe. The most influential modern book I have read would have to be Wes Stafford's "Too small to ignore" it brought me to tears countless times (and I hardly ever cry)
Well Jesus is first on the list.My parents are great too, I will be forever grateful to them for all their love and support, for making me do my homework, making me eat vegetables, chewing me out if I came home drunk and teaching me Christian values.Again Wes Stafford is another hero. He has had the opportunity to do great amounts of good as the president of the Children’s ministry "Compassion". Most importantly he is so humble, he always perceives others to be better than himself and is constantly learning from our worlds most precious people, children.
