The Opium Theatre . . .
was founded in late 2003 by Florian Hohmann, Sebastian Katterle and Micheal Lorenz. Rapidly emerging from the underground scene of East Germany the band had soon begun to share the stage with legendary acts such as Nikki Sudden, Low500 and The Jancee Pornick Casino. :
And finally, after having gone a long, long way the first official Opium album ''Tout à Coup'' has been released on Swamp Room Records. Being recorded on Friday 13th (sum up the digits of 10/13/2006) the long player provides 13 tracks for every occasion, may it be a bitter cocktail in a moonless night or simply your next ride in a cop car.
