About Me

I'm living in Zhuji, Zhejiang, PRC. I'm originally from LI, NY and lived in Manhattan for a few years. I love new york, China's pretty cool but this is a 6 month stint, so I'll be back stateside soon. That said, I love to travel and have adventures... I think feet are horrifying and birds in general creep me out (but in a fascinating kind of way). When I get really happy or real mad or I am thinking real hard I make the streetlights turn on and off. I rarely eat breakfast in the morning but it's my favorite meal. I enjoy fantasy and reading and animals that seem like they could be made up, or are made up. I get along with pretty much everyone, but I don't particularly like people. I'm proud of being lazy.www.flickr.com/photos/christine_bell

My Interests

People watching. Sleeping. Watching people sleep. Dreams. The Roon. Reading. Eating good food. Adventuring. Sick days. Art. Words. Music. Pictures.

I'd like to meet:

Anyone who isn't a total creep. People who appreciate why I think hocking and spitting in public is grossifying. People who don't mind that I use made up words like grossifying. People who won't touch my feet/ask me bizzare questions like: "If you were about to die and all you had to do to live was touch someone's foot would you do it?" as a response to my telling them I have a foot phobia. People with good stories to tell and different perspectives on life. Anyone who is interested in anything interesting and wants to share it with others.** IF YOU DON'T MESSAGE ME I WILL NOT ACCEPT A FRIEND INVITE AND I DON'T WANT TO BE PART OF YOUR "FRIEND COLLECTION" **

Music:

Punk rock is where my heart is but I'll give anything a listen. Lately I've had a soft spot for anything with strings and especially haunting melodies.

Movies:

Pan's Labyrinth was excellent. Donnie Darko, Amelie, Spirited Away, Before Sunrise, Benny and Joon, Being john Malcovich, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels etc. And Since China I have come to appreciate: Talladega Nights, The Lion King (all over again), Ice Age 2, and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxie

Television:

Korean Soap Operas, the Tea Garden Pillow Commercial and Documentary on CCTV 9

Books:

Animals in Translation is a must must must read- infinitely fascinating. I'm also quite enjoying How to be Idle...
