My name is James Porteous, and I'm a photographer based in Scotland. Primarily, I shoot sports and music, but I've been known to work in other areas, including portraiture, and urban landscape work.
I'm a regular contributor to Descent-World.co.uk and Gravity-Slaves.co.uk - two of the finest MTB websites in the world, as well as being a staff photographer and picture editor for the Glasgow University Guardian.
Recently, I've reached the final six of the Times Young Photographer of the Year, had work published in the Times itself, and have also taken photos for Harvey Nichols, at their Edinburgh restaurant.
