Born & bred in Texas by a loving Mexican family, mild mannered Sonny Dominguez was groomed for his destiny. Raised on a healthy regimen of pro wrestling, comic books, tv shows and movies. He was kept fueled by Dr. Pepper, Blue Bell ice cream, Wendy’s combo #2 and his mom’s own restaurant, Graciela’s.

He attended the finest Christian school but never paid much attention to his studies. After barely graduating from college, he abandoned his over-priced Religion degree to pursue the wonderful & rewarding field of being a waiter to pay for his acting addiction. His adventures in the restaurant business include his battles with the sinister Pappadeaux management, his brief stint in the League of the Grand Lux Cafe, and his current membership in The Factory of Cheesy Doom. A transplant to L.A. from Dallas, he was traded by the Grand Lux Cafe to the Sherman Oaks Cheesecake Factory for a pack of gum, a midget & a favor to be named later between the 2 GMs.

Dubbed Captain Confidence by former co-worker Nan Dowling, Sonny adopted the alter ego when he would go out with his drinking buddies. Captain Confidence has become many things to many people. However he is neither a bad boy nor a good guy, but rather a gentleman would be his proper label. Under the tutelage of great men who've unleashed the Captain's potential, working with his already classically handsome looks. They've spent hours of training him in: the arts of spiritual understanding, the powers of seduction, charisma, wisdom, drinking, working out and fashion sense. With recent aspirations to be the next Cary Grant, Sonny has acquired the help of a man simply known as "The Colonel". Known to all women as a knight in shining armor, a select few have gotten lucky enough to experience the Latino heat known as the legendary Hispanic Titanic.
Though many have ventured to tear down the joy in his life, the Captain keeps smiling and his fighting spirit lives on. With the help of his closest allies Jesus "Savior of the World" Christ and faithful Rumple Minze, they have overcome such foes as Menacing Monty Montgomery, A.D.D, bad tippers, Terrible Tim Holland and the selfish people he encounters in life.
