About Upchuck Records

Upchuck Records was founded on and will always be about the music that makes an impact on us, the incredibly talented bands that create it and our passion to bring it all to you. Our label is one in which people unite; to experience this music, these bands, and to do it all together. You may not remember your first A in English, but you remember the first time you heard that song, or tell the story of the time you went to see that band - for these are the things that truly matter.

Upchuck Records was formed in early March 2003 by Adam Carrillo and Justin Wise as a branching point that would sprawl into something two friends would never anticipate happening. By 2004 Upchuck had semi-established itself in Whittier, California and within the Indie-Music Industry. By 2005 Adam had parted ways with the label to venture out and the now Owner of Upchuck (Justin) made the name Upchuck known to people, The problem arose that people knew the name but no one had seen the capabilities of Upchuck Records as of yet, and unfortunately no one would until late 2006 when the first release was made ( UCR001 ). Today 2008 Upchuck Records has moved to its final resting grounds in Fullerton, California So come join us to show and bring back to the Music World that:

Upchuck has the utmost respect for music, the bands, and the creative process. We gain respect by doing it ourselves, that will never change - that is the soul integrity of the Label.

We've built a family, our community is always growing - and now, we're continuing to build a reputation.

Upchuck is not a corporation, it's a family - we do this because we care about the bands and those people who play in them. We keep a personal relationship with our bands and are here to help even if it doesn't even concern music - we truly care, this is why we exist.
